In our pots and pans you only find grain, potatoes, vegetables from this region like the Lord has created them, of course without this new devilish rubbish.

Concerning selection, processing of our meals and beverages we pay extreme attention to quality, freshness and local origin. We always cook fresh meals, also according to recipes of previous centuries and concentrate on typical local meals of Saxony and Upper Lusatia.

We point some of them out to you. “Beelzebub” Beelzebub, nickname of the devil - is indicating unique specialities to you which are available in the “Mönchshof”.

Finely selected things to eat and drink:

  • Homemade bread
  • Lard with apple and onion flavour
  • Drink for making love (herb liqueur in a small clay or glass bottle)
  • „Beelzebub“ - nickname of  the devil (liqueur with gentian root and honey)
